About Me
Nannette Kamien, CFP®, RICP®, MBA
I originally started Inspiration Financial Planning in Illinois in 2015 - with no experience, as a career-changer, with two little kids at home. I had no credentials either (I was half-way through the CFP® coursework). But I knew that it was what I was meant to do.
Life had other plans for me, though. Over the next 6 years, I moved across the country to California, my mom passed away, I went through a very challenging financial situation, a pandemic happened, I got divorced, and I moved again - 5 times in 4 years. So I shut down my firm in 2019 during all of this and I went to work for others.
